Ye Olde Tarantian Gourmet
OOC:
For the social RP I'd like to bring up a list to give some inspiration the varrious things you'd be eating as a citizen of Old Tarantia.
Of course there world o different between the diet of a commoner and a nobel but I'm sure you'll get the picture judging from the various things in list. This is a list with inspration from what was commonly eaten in the antique Mediterrinian.
Meat:
Sheep
Pig (Salted)
Ox
Sausage (from pig)
Domestic fowl (chicken, duck, pheasant, peacock, geese)
Game (deer, wild boar, wild birds, hare etc. the more exotic the more prestige amongst nobels at feasts )
Eggs
Fish (dried, smoked or Salted)
Shellfish
Oysters & Clams
Grain:
Husked wheat (breakfast)
Porridge (commoner meal)
Naked wheat for bread
Fruit:
Grapes (green and black)
Melon (water and honey)
Peaches
Figs
Rhubarb
Dates
Peaches
Vegetables:
Cabbage
Parsnips
Lettuce
Asparagus
Onion
Garlic
Marrows
radishes
Lentils

Real Aquilonians uses garum as toothpaste in the morning.
