The Garden

When you approach the Sandstone walls of the villa, you are greeted by two large armored men, who scowl down, as you walk between them through the doorway. The door that stands open to all is brown and weathered with age, but made of thick and sturdy oak. It looks to be able to hold back the world, if the need arose...

When you pass through the doorway, you walk out into a large garden area, across which the main villa sits. Its walls, matching the outside ones, are adorned with lanterns. they burn with sweet smelling oils, adding to the aromas already present in the garden.

The space is ringed by a colonnaded walkway, that spans out from the door and runs the edge of the garden, leading around the space, butted up against the wall, and connecting to the house.

The garden itself has a stone walkway leading from the gates door, all the way up to the main building. Fruit trees and flowing bushes dot the space, providing both shade and color. Benches ring the larger trees providing space and rest to guests as they wait for audiences. The biggest tress are along the left and right corners by the main house. Finally, several moderate sized fountains bubble and splash away near the walkway, creating just enough noise to hide quiet conversation.
